The care of the necks of Scandicci
Farmers have always lived and worked with effort and passion in these hills. It is easy to imagine the Etruscans dedicated to the care of vines and olives, of which they were masters, not to mention the Florentines of the Renaissance period
Our apartments
Next to the villa is the farmhouse consisting of three large, completely autonomous apartments that have managed to preserve the rural atmosphere of the past, perfectly combining with the furnishings designed by Ciro, a well-known local artist. An oasis of peace between vineyards and olive trees, just outside Florence, where you can spend a peaceful holiday in close contact with nature.
Strong attention to environmental issues
We are located on the hills of Scandicci, in the Mosciano area, about 200 meters above sea level. In over three centuries of history, how many adventures and how many faces have passed through this house!
After the ruins of the war, a model company among those located in the hills of Scandicci becomes the property of the Raffaelli-Ciani family.
Today the farm continues its historic mission, enriched by a strong attention to environmental issues and no less attention to the ethical aspects of our work.
Day trips
In a few minutes, thanks to the tramway that leaves from Scandicci, it is possible to reach the historic center of Florence, and visit its beautiful monuments and museums. Furthermore, Poggio Arioso is a base for comfortable day trips to some of the most fascinating Tuscan towns known all over the world, such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pisa, Lucca and, in the Chianti area, Greve and Caastellina.
We will be at your disposal for any suggestions and, if you like, we can offer guided tours. And to savor the atmosphere of our hills we provide a mountain bike rental service.
